Keeping data safe is a legal requirement and this course covers these requirements to ensure that businesses and individuals understand how to secure data as well as complying with current legislation via the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
DSE/VDU Operator Safety Level 2 (VTQ) – £24.95 + VAT
DSE/VDU Operator Safety course is designed to meet Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 which is aimed at a worker who uses DSE daily, for an hour or more at a time. Poor posture or equipment that is not fit for the task being undertaken can result in medical conditions resulting in problems with the neck/back, headaches, stiffness, sight problems as well as arm wrist and hand conditions. The HSE state on their website “As an employer, you must protect your workers from the health risks of working with display screen equipment (DSE), such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.” Further training on reducing injury can be gained by completing our Manual Handling course.
